The Senior Company provides high-quality nursing and companionship services in the comfort of your own home. Home care services are designed to help with the recovery and prevention of hospitalization, chronic conditions, and assistance with activities of daily living. We create a plan of care customized to meet everyone’s specific needs and wants.

The caregivers at the Senior Company are compassionate and experienced home health care professionals. Our staff includes skilled registered nurses (RN), licensed practical nurses (LPN), and certified home health aides (CHHA). Our supervising RN works closely with our staffing coordinator to match each home health aide with the client based on personality and habits to ensure satisfaction.

Our main office is in Totowa NJ with additional offices in Morristown, Ridgewood, and Hackensack. We provide services to individuals residing in North Jersey, specifically Bergen, Union, Morris, Passaic, Essex, and Hudson county.

Costs are determined by location, level of care, and schedule. Our Care Managers are available 24/7 to discuss the costs associated with your needs.

We accept payments via ACH, Credit Card, Check, or Long-Term Care Insurance.

While we aim to make the best personality and clinical match, if you are uncomfortable with a caregiver, we can make a change at any time.
We provide care in many environments including Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Communities.
We provide both services! We work with you to determine the best schedule to fit your needs.
Yes! Our Main office is equipped with all the necessary training equipment to not only help confirm caregiver’s specific skill sets but to help them brush up on a need they may have not cared for recently. We do provide over 25 different in-services throughout the year to our caregivers as well.
Any health concerns or changes to the plan of care will be discussed with the client and the client’s health care power of attorney. The RN will keep close contact with both and will be available for any questions or concerns that you may see as well.
Agencies are insured to protect you from liability of accidents and negligence. Agency licensing and accreditation holds us to a higher operating standard including hiring, monitoring, care standards, and our internal process which aims to protect our clients. Agencies also keep enough staff to fill in if your caregiver need time off or has an emergency. All our clients and caregivers are overseen by our Registered Nursing staff.
Your Care Manager is available to you 24/7. As a backup, our office is on call 24/7 to answer any questions.
We would offer to fill the shift with a temporary replacement. Even if short term, we make sure the caregiver is an appropriate match and they are trained on the care plan.
